| New Owner & Member Introduction
Good Morning. The purpose of this post to say hello and pop the proverbial cherry.
I just picked up my Mustang last week. This is my first one and I could not be happier with the car. I've been reading this forum, along with others to learn about the car and what people are doing. You folks sure are doing a lot!
The only mod I have done (so far) is to reprogram the remote start so the engine does not shut off when I open the door.
I know people do not buy a Mustang to get good gas mileage. But I also believe that people do buy a V6 to try to get the best of both worlds. And that is the category into which I fall.
The mods I have been reading about are the CAI, exhaust, and a tune.

Welcome Coffee,
I'm a pretty new member myself. I found that the Mustang owners on this forum are all great new INTERNET friends and I really enjoy the passing of information and what some of them has already done to their Mustangs.
Congratulations on your new Mustang and I'm sure it won't stay stock for long.
If you have any questions all you need to do is ask and there is someone on this forum that will try to answer you.

Welcome! Not a bad list of starting mods as long as you do not care about voiding warranty.
Pretty cool people on this site, I have learned a lot from them even though I have a background in the auto repair industry

I'd actually prefer black stripes myself. Kinda partial to the stealthy stripe look on those. Awesome color.
Welcome to the club and hope you enjoy your Stang. This is my first Mustang as well, so don't feel left out. Also, the V6 are far from the hp compromises they used to be. They're small powerhouses in their own right, not underpowered like the 4.0s

drat...jealous of the interior. sterling grey with saddle was the backup color.....still wonder how my GHIG would have looked with that interior...prob odd. gonna covert front seats and doors to ultrasoft lime green vinyl in main seating parts and panel after tax money arrives next year
