2013 Mustang, came with a small black sunglasses holder, mounting?

So I just got my 2013 Mustang (stick shift) yesterday, and in it was this black, probably 2"x2" plastic thing with what looks like a sunglass holder and something else, and a piece of paper telling me to look in my owners manual.

I can't find it in the manual, so how do I mount this?

Also, my ext. temperature gauge on my radio fluctuates ALOT, especially when driving at slower speeds or in stop and go traffic, it says 120 when it's realistically 100-105, and as soon as I start speeding up it goes down 20-30 degrees?

It goes on the passengers side visor. on the visor theres a black button looking thing with a slit put a coin in the slit and twist and it will come out. Then u can twist and put the sunglass holder thing in.

thinking you might have a glitch in your EXT temp gauge or its really frakking hot where you are..? havent had that happen on my 2013 as yet (knocking on wood). Enjoy that holder....I hardly use mine but installed it anyhoo.....

My car just hit 100 miles, so it may just fix itself after a while, but I'm taking it into my dealership next week just in case. It's so weird because I was getting used to the transmission (what an evil, evil clutch) so I was going very slowly and stopping and starting a lot, and I looked down and saw it said 116 degrees!

I checked the rest of my virtual gauges and whatnot for any sort of similarities and they were all relatively normal (is 200+ degrees cylinder head normal for 100+ degree weather?) but as soon as I starting going ~40 mph I watched the ext temperature gauge drop about a degree a second, all the way down to near the actual current temperature, 102...

Heat is radiating off the asphalt and being picked up by the sensor. When you speed up it's reading air temp rather than the heat stored in the road.

Mine does that. It'll say 116 or whatever then when i get it to speed it'll say 102. It is right on the driver side lower grille. Mine is on with a zip tie. No worries bro.

Mine was in the glove box wrapped in plastic, along with the front license plate holder. My dealer had everything nice and neat ready for me to drive it off the lot the day it rolled in when I came to pick it up. It also comes with a small clip, I assume for holding documents. I would go back and ask your dealer about the missing accessories.

I'll have to do that. They already ticked me off. I haven't received my plates yet after 5 weeks. I call them up and they say the plates are waiting for me to pick them up. I drive right over there and then they say, "oh yeah, we just mailed them." You couldn't have said before I drove 30 minutes to pick them up?
