Konabluev6,

Great choice! I'm a huge of the hood scoops on the 05+ Mustangs, they really bring a sharp look to your front end.

I'm glad to hear you pulled the trigger & are happy with the scoop.

Thanks for the business, we greatly appreciate it!

- Dan

Re: Hood scoop

That really makes the front end stand out on our Kona Blue's. I'm sure the pictures don't really do that good of a job either! Hmmmm...I just hate paying that kind of money for a piece of plastic with 3M tape attached to it. I know they're on sale and all, but still!

Looks good man. I'm not a fan of stuff like that myself but it does look meaner.

Re: Hood scoop

Thanks for the comments guys.... wasn't crazy about popping of the $$, but $289 painted delivered. And the fact that it's AM selling as opposed to a random ebay seller. I know they're not real popular because of the non functioning deal, but how many add ons are?

How was the paint? I ordered side louvers for mine and the paint wasn't quite what I had hoped for. That has kind of deterred me from other painted items. Hopefully it was just a fluke onetime thing.

Re: Hood scoop

Hood scoops don't really do much for any vehicle these days, even functional ones don't really do much.

I like them. I wish they had edges on the front that slanted forward to the beginning of the bulge. Still, they look good.

Little light around the inside bottom edges, nothing that couldn't be fixed. Color was spot on. From reading AMs buyers letters, seems like every once in a while a goof gets out there, but they do fix it! Stand up place to do business with!

Re: Hood scoop

Looks good. I've debated about getting one as well, just don't want to shell out the dough and i kinda like how mine looks without.

How was it to install?

Re: Hood scoop

Was a piece of cake.... hardest part was drilling four holes into a perfectly good hood. But it came out great!!

I agree - They don't accomplish much. The only hood "scoops" I was ever a fan of was the early 2000's Mach-1 Shaker hoods. They were functional and looked pretty badass with that body style IMO.

Re: Hood scoop

I like the look. It may be one of those things i buy when it goes on sale and i shrug and say why not, *click*.

Though i like the way mine looks right now.

I got mine on eBay. Official Roush product for 100. Obviously not painted but for that price I can do the prep and paint work.
