Magnaflow, unless you like a lot of cabin sound at hwy speeds also, then I'd get the Roush.

Re: Roush axle back or magnaflow competition axleback??

I have the Roush axle backs on my 11' 3.7 and love them. People say they're really loud and a lot of cabin noise, but that really depends on how you drive. If you accelerate to 3K rpm from every dead stop, yes it's going to be loud. It's only loud if you want it to be and otherwise has a nice rumble at low rpms. I personally like the tone it gives off at higher rpms as well, it's unique. Nice start-up sound and defiantly can turns heads when flying past somebody.

As far as the cabin noise, I don't find it to bad. It's summer so I drive with my windows down 99% of the time and I can't hear anything. I've had some super super hot days where the I actually used the A/C and the drone wasn't that bad if you're cruising around 1,500-2K rpms.

Are you looking at the quad tips for the comps? If so, that's hot.

Re: Roush axle back or magnaflow competition axleback??

I have the magnaflow streets and i love them. From what i've read on other forums, the competition series are way louder and have the drone, but i cannot speak from experience.

I don't think you can go wrong with either one of them. If you want to spend extra and get the roush or save some money and get the magnaflows i'm pretty sure you will be happy either way.

Best of luck

Re: Roush axle back or magnaflow competition axleback??

I really don't think one Muffler is better then any other. They are all just soooo different in looks, material's and sound.

The Magnaflows gave me exactly what I personally was looking for. I narrowed my choice down to Ford Racing Touring or Magnaflow streets. The Magnaflows just looked much better quality and had nicer stainless steel tips that I really loved.

There are just a lot of choices to choose from. All of the choices seem to be of very good products so if a person does some research and knows just what they want. There is a muffler out there to suit your wants & needs.

*********How I love "AMERICA" the land of choices.**************

Finally! Someone that likes to hear there car! Then go Magnaflow. They're always "on". Can always hear them. The comps that is. But, I have no experience with Roush. I'm sure they both sound great though and probably sound the same over 3k :/

^^ That just made my day to read both of your comments on actually hearing your cars I'm the same way. Most of the time the windows are down and music playing. I hate when my windows are up because then I can't hear the full rumble of my exhaust lol

Ha!! Suuuure...it's ok. I mean, it's only 2012. Women can vote. I know it's silly, but women do raise the bar every now and then Lol! It's totally fine, I'm just giving you guys a hard time.

A little insider about me- I started a local truck club when I had my Ranger, and we did go off-roading and muddin' as well as shows. I'm good in the kitchen, but can do good things outside of it too lol

Exactly. You want quiet, then go with stock. I love drone and it just also give a little bit of an ego boost. I'm personally trying to find the loudest v6 exhaust for my BOSS 227 so it spuds close to a boss minus the 2 cylinders

Not only noise ordinances, but also emissions. In some states they're jerks about what kind of exhaust system you have. My friend moved from VA to PA and had to take some things back to stock...too loud and wouldn't pass emissions.

Original. He bought it at an action. It's shorter and he uses turtle products on his 60 something challengers and chargers. Tim Wellborn is his name. Check him out. I make him money lol

I'm in Alabama...they don't care... Js we don't have envision or car tests. If it runs it's good apparently
