True it might but if it has to be takin in for warranty work. I would just take it off. And put the old one on. And hope they couldn't tell you had at one point takin it off?

I don't think they could as long as you had everything tightened back down the way it was again

I looked at these too. Let me know if anyone ends up putting one on, and how they perform. I thought it was a little too high dollar for what it was.

Can't see it being worth it. To have any benefit I think you'd need a tune required intake that has increased air flow over stock airbox or a regular cold air intake. Even then it's probably not worth the $400 :/

Re: BBK Throtle Body

On the 4.0 (2005 - 2010 model years) the BBK has given most people who tried nothing but problems. And no increase in peformance when NA, and very little even when the car is FI.

I can't imagine that it works any better on the 3.7 but haven't seen any real life testing (i.e. done without someone who needs to hype it up to sell some on their website at the same time).

Re: BBK Throtle Body

well think of it like this. what's the point of getting a wider throttle body if there isn't more air coming in to cram into the engine. IMO, the throttle body is a great add if you are getting a CAI with wider piping, for example the steeda CAI. If you have more air being crammed into the engine, wouldn't you think you need a wider opening?
