Since its all LED lighting on the 13 it looks different during different times. Like when it's off, brake lights on, driving down the road etc.

Why not try 3m vinyl. It works great on the cars exterior and will completely black out the tail lights with on thin strip

I'm thinking about doing the black vinyl aswell instead of plastidiping. But I'm not sure if the tail light will bleed threw a lil or not.

Re: plastidip tail lights (2013)

anybody but me...already know they make a killer orange and blue blaze plasti dip??? freaking awesome!!!! Going to see if my one customer I painted his brakes grabber blue if he wants to do some trim with that. sites have someone that mixed the any color and airbrushed in green. That would be toooo much for my ride..LOL!

Re: plastidip tail lights (2013)

I saw on the plasti dip facebook page yesterday....in addition to Blaze Orange and Blue....
By september we will have yellow, green, pink and purple.
Keep an eye on that Ash...you could have a DIY mod for Roxie....

Thanks man. There's some little air pockets around the vinyl but I took a pin a put a hole in the tint to squeegee it out now it looks more legit hahaha.
