v6 and v8 suspension differences

I have a 2012 v6 convertible , all i would like to know is if there is a differences between the v6 shocks , struts and springs than the gt has. Im asking this because i can get a good deal on those gt parts and was wondering if it was worth upgrading .

Re: v6 and v8 suspension differences

its is an upgrade. higher spring rates, better rebound and dampening. youll notice less roll and dive without compromising ride quality.

if its a 'deal' do it. if its not, there are better options available...especially if you are going to pay someone else to install

What kinda deal? How used are these parts? Also I believe the brembo package car has some better handling parts then the regular GT? So is it coming from a stock GT or brembo car? But it'd probably only be a slight upgrade either way. Anyone driven both? Did you want to lower your car? And unless you do the work yourself it wouldn't be worth it imo. Installation from a shop would cost you quite a bit for just slightly better handling. I recommend saving for a better kit.

I think GT500 parts are direct Bolton as well, there's always gt500 parts for sale on S197 and those are an upgrade from GT parts, otherwise just buy aftermarket
