Roush or mixed?

Thinking of doing either roush cai and axle backs or magnaflow and a different cold air intake? I've been listening to roush on YouTube and they sound kinda of ricey/raspy I don't want like really raspy just a nice rumble I know I wont get the eight sound but I don't want it to sound really raspy and a lot of drone just a nice muscle tone to it

I didn't think the Roush sounded that bad, but the magna flows sound good too. I wish people wouldn't floor it in the videos.

We've had plenty of threads on this but everyone will have their own opinion. I say magnaflow ftw. Very deep down low but sounds great when you open her up. Kinda sporty/exotic imo

Naw I wouldn't say it sounds like a Z. The Z has a different kind of tone to it. Maybe similar but you can tell the difference between the sound of a Z and our stangs. If you heard them with your eyes closed next to each other you can tell which is which easily imo.

Not raspy. It sounds.. Not sure how to put it in words :/ You wouldn't be disappointed though. They are loud that's for sure.

Re: Roush or mixed?

Plenty of plenty of plenty of threads on this. Everybody wants to know what the Roush axle-backs sound like and quite frankly, you can't tell how the sound is from YouTube. It's just not the same.

After installing these on my 11' 3.7 and driving with them for a good month or so, I love the sound. There's only one word that can describe it, unique. It's not a 5.0, it's not ricey. It's a tone that I have never heard before and I love it. It's loud, but only when you want it loud. Nice deep grumble at start up and idol, good sound below 3k rpms, but after 3k rmps, watch out because it comes alive. I have had plenty of people complement on the sound and wouldn't have it any other way.

Go back in the forum and read up on the other threads on this topic and come back.
