It was only because I didn't have the right drill bits to go through the pedal material (steel I assume)... Just took a long time!

I love my stock metal pedals. It's better than what any mustang had before...bland black plastic. I won't change mine. That kit looks nice though and it's different.

I bought some from SRP racing (with grabber blue stripes). I got anodized, which adds 3-4 weeks, but theyre finally shipped! Will post a review once theyre in and on. Here's some stock pics and a link to the site, though:

Lightbulb Lots of Options

Those are actually just covers for the Dead Pedal, not the pedals on an Auto.

There are several options if you dig around, including the SRP pedals mentioned above which are just sweet...

There's the Roush (also mentioned above), the Steeda, the Drake Muscle Cars and the Shelby (which are just Drake Muscle Cars with Shelby engraved on them) in terms of full billet pedals. I'm sure I'm forgetting one or two others.

Then there are the 'pedal covers' which just barely cover part of the stock pedals, or don't have the 'solidity' of good billet pedals. These would include the Ford Sport Pedals and the UPR covers.

Some of those mentioned above also provide a billet pedal to cover the dead pedal.

Good Luck!

<snip image>

Those are the Ford Sport Pedals and they are only found in the Premium packages. (Also possibly the Boss and GT500, I'm not sure if they have those or different pedals...)

The non-Premium V6 and GT get plain old black rubber/plastic pedals.

The Premium-style aluminum and rubber pedals are available through Ford Parts dealers and are usually called Ford Sport Pedals.

I see. They do look great but if im wearing skate/flat shoes that are a little wet i feel the rubber still slips under my left foot so im extra cautious. The brake and gas are easy to keep control of. Keep this in mind on aftermarket pedals they do have to serve a function. Im sure there are better ones out there for much cheaper than these through ford

Here they are w/ gb stripes. Note that the stripes are vinyl, not paint. My gas pedal had some machining marks that I didnt like and the vinyl was a little messed up, but theyre going to replace it for me. Small business, super nice guy. Might paint the stripes eventually, but theyre recessed so the vinyl should last awhile. Will report back when I get em installed.

Those look really nice! Thanks for letting us know about the vinyl stripes, and about the good support from the manufacturer. That puts them a couple of points further up my decision list, right there. Good support after the sale is priceless. If only more businesses understood that...

Looking forward to your post after you get them installed.

Good Luck!
