Ghost cam tune?

So what's the deal with them? Will you get the same performance as any other tune? I've only heard of them recently. Saw a vid of a 13 V6 with one and it was pretty cool I guess. But is there any benefit or..? Someone explain, thanks!

CYCLON37,

Unfortunately we are only offering them for the 11 & 12 GT's at the moment. If we do start offering them for the V6, I'll definitely let you know. As far as performance goes, they react the same as your standard race tune. There's no gains or loss from the BamaCam tune, only a Lopey Idle!

Sorry I couldn't be more help if you have any further questions, Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 10AM-3PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

- Dan

Thanks Dan. The guy was on another forum and got the tune from someone else. Would be great if you guys started running it though.

Here's the vid:

I'd love to hear this ghost tune w/ LT's and offroad H. And just to clear this up, it's not my car. Found this on another forum.

Sweeet! Thanks again Dan. Btw, how does it achieve the looping idle sound? Any affect on MPG's with the GT? And is it safe to run all the time like any other tune?

All of the adjustments are made in the Variable Valve Timing Tables to give your pony that lopey sound. On the GT's it does effect that gas mileage a tiny bit, not much just a MPG or 2. The BamaCam is made for the Race tune only, so yes it's just as save to run as all of your other tunes!

I hope this helps, Let me know if you have any further questions.

-Dan

Re: Ghost cam tune?

Ya I heard this tune a month ago. I love it. I have been waiting to see how others cars respond to it first though lol.

Re: Ghost cam tune?

So will this tune decrease mpg on a v6? What about on a auto? and Texas emissions?

cool. welcome to ME. So. How does it drive? Does it ever feel like it will stall? What does your car idle at? Do you drive it daily with that tune? Any issues? How many miles do you have on your car with the tune? Sorry for all the questions. lol.
