Import or ricer?

Which would you consider this Z? I personally say import despite his 5 inch cans out the back.

I'd say import/tuner because he doesn't have any silly body moldings or spoilers, it also started out as a sports car and not the cheap family car.

His giant exhaust is what caught my eye. And the fact he parked next to me. I parked a good ways out and all alone too.

Re: Import or ricer?

Not a fan of the "euro" tails. Stock 300ZX tails look fine and suit the car, those look cheap. The exhaust... iffy. Some tuners have them like that but smaller tips would have suited the car better. Everything else looks pretty stock or suiting to the car. I love those cars btw.

Those cars are nice. If done right. Simple and clean. The tips ehh maybe a tad smaller but still looks great.

I think you mean tuner or ricer. Either way, it's an import. But I'd say neither. A ricer to me is someone who puts tacky things on there car that don't belong and just look ridicules. A tuner to me is a properly modded car performance wise. I can't tell if theres been any performance mods or not so I couldn't call it a tuner just by looking at the outside. It looks like it just has exhaust and new wheels. Pretty common for most people to do. So it's not a ricer, not a tuner, it's just idk? Normal? :/

Btw, what do people call us? Couldn't we be classified as tuners? From definitions I've seen and heard, I'd say yes :/

His exhaust is at least double mine. I call us mustang enthusiast or a muscle class. That's just me. Round here, normal is a Camry. Mustangs are either riced or like mine and done right. The import world is scarce here too. But the 5 inch tips...come on. My buddy has 3 1/2 on his Z and it's really nice. But I am a fan of the Z cars. Js

I agree, if a Z is done right it is a very nice car!! If its done poorly then it's rice. Just like a Mustang, or Camaro can be rice. For instance the other day, I saw a riced out Z. Huge wing, the wrong wheels, fart can mufflers. Just not in good taste.

Ricers have upgraded!! Around me you'll have the typical civics but now all I see is Altimas and Camrys with annoying exhausts, autozone chrome and the stupidest hot headed drivers.

Not a fan of those tips but the car is still nice. I'm a fan of those 300z's. Like the much better than 350z or 370z. New, those cars were $40,000 up.
