New mustang owner question.

Hello everyone, just wondering if anyone has heard or had this problem with their mustang. I have a 2013 V6 wirh 3000 kms, brought it to the shop a month ago because of some suspension noises and the told me its the front tables, "lower control arms and bushings? Car had less than 1200 kms at the time. How is this possible?

Thats a little harsh dont you think? It didnt die on the side of the road or need a drive line replacement! I was simply asking if anyone has had that issue because ford has posted a bulletin on it.... But thanks for you useless input!

MrMike,

Welcome to MustangEVO & Congratulations on the 13', they are amazing machines! You'll find a lot of great reads & meet a lot of awesome people on here.

As far has a Control arm bushing going bad at 1200kms, It's definitely a possibility. Sometimes small defects like this happen and bushings are wearable parts. I wouldn't worry about it, Just throw a new control arm bushing in there & you'll be fine!

Let me know if you have any questions or need any further assistance.

- Dan

The control arm bushings aren't failing, just noisy. Ford will fix for you. I am a little surprised that the issue is still there on the 13's. My 12 didnt have the issue. Make the dealer fix it.

Yep, they are still there..... And when warm up they sure sound like there failing! From reading other post im very surprised this is still happening! Its my first ford since buying a new 2001 taurus that was plagued with problems since day 1! I Hope its not the same path!
