Re: Bama Tuner

Yea you can call them and ask them to write up a new tune with the limiter removed. It should be no problem since it is free unlimited tunes.

Jmusc16,

If you want any of those changes at a particular setting, you can give Bama a call and they'll easily change it for you. We do push the rev limiter a littler higher too, since our Bama tunes make power even higher up top. I believe the limiter is pushed to 7300 or 7400 for the 4v 5.0L, which is more then enough for a bone stock car.

Like I mentioned, if you want any settings changed, feel free to give our Bama team a call. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 10AM-3PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

I'm not sure they will adjust your limiter without having replaced your driveshaft first. And IMHO it would be stupid to ask until you do. I live in Germany an am constantly going 100+ mph so I feel the pain of having a limiter, but it's there for a reason and if anything happens your warranty is shot and your put of pocket. At least with the BAMA tho you can tune it back before you take it in to the shop.

And maybe tightening up your suspension too, it helps if your going higher speeds.

I feel bad for you. I bet you'd love to take that car over 120 or whatever the limit is. It's like a tease lol

NicholasP,

For the most part we can change any setting you want. If you want the rev limiter and speed limiter off, I'm sure we can do it. We just don't suggest it!

Re: Bama Tuner

The plenum and convertor would change a lot, I'm guess this is an 03 judging by your name? You might be able to send them a scan to go on, but asking for an exact tune with that many simultaneous mods is asking for a bit much. Also, a convertor isn't just a bolt on. If It's a bolt on, a cam is too.

Well if they can only tune for certain mods then they should say that not just say custom tunes for life

Are all of your mods items sold by AM? In that case they may not be able to
