Re: how dark are your windows?

35% on my new one. Legal here is 35%. My last one had limo on back (never do that again to hard to see at night when backing out) and 20% on sides. Honestly the 35% is a great balance. I had never went with that before as I thought it was too light but it blocks out the rays here in AZ and is easy to see out of at night.

35% front windows, 30% back windows and rear. Tint less than 80% in front windows is illegal in California

I got 5% tint in my back window and it is extremely hard to see out of it at night.the place that did my tint said they would take the back tint off and replace it with whatever shade I want for $60.what % do you think I should get the back window so I can see out of it at night.

Re: how dark are your windows?

I'm 35% all around. I have 35% on my Grand Prix. I got my Malibu and went 15% and it was too dark for my liking at night (daytime I loved it), so I went back to lighter.

35 is what most people can see out of at night. Keep in mind it will let in more headlight from people driving behind you but you will be able to back out and that is equally as important to me anyway. My last car had limo (5%) tint on it and I would pull through spots so I didnt have to back out whenever I could. I am happy with the 35.

Love my 20% mustangs look good with tint! I love Tint even if it's light. It reduces so much glare.

I have 35 on sides and 20 on back. At first I thought the 35 wouldnt be dark enough, but I am happy with the way it looks.

5% all the way around. I don't need to flip the little rear view mirror dimmer thing ever and I always drive with my windows open, unless it's raining of course.
