got a bad rattle in the cabin

its a shot in the dark but i have a rattling noise and cant find where it is coming from . it seems to be on the dash close to the windshield but i cant find out for sure and it comes from both sides of the car when i hit the smallest bump in the road or a song has any bass. i know you guys cant tell me where its coming from just by reading this but i was thinking maybe someone else has had this issue . its driving me nuts.
any suggestions would be great thanks, :uhh

First things first. Check your glove box and console for lose things that you might have placed in there. Harmonics can do some odd things and a coke can sitting on a penny has made me perplexed more than once.

I have random squeaks from the chromelastic trim pieces in the interior... Varies with temperature. I just floor it or blast music until I can't hear it.

I had a rattle on the highway, it ended up being a loose fender banging against the a pillar, i could press on it and there was movement. Dealer fixed it for me.

Re: got a bad rattle in the cabin

i mean from the outside, i literally pressed on the fender itself where it joins with the a pillar and it was loose, you can hear it knock against the a pillar so on the highway it made a crazy rattling...it was about a quarter inch of play.

Dealer fixed it no problem and they will fix whatever you have once you locate it, this stuff is pretty common, its just fit and finish issues.

I have a rattle from mine as well but it's the heat shield on the exhaust. I hit a rabbit and it tore my brace from my chin spoiler off along with a hole in my gas tank liner(not the tank itself) but the heat shield rattles all the time now. So just from personal experience, check under your car.
