I prefer this on VIP rides like a lexus/infiniti big sedan with sweet rims...but regardless...i really like the ones that have dots as opposed to the ricey orbs of light

Re: Led underglow?

I purchased a spool of 300 LED's 3528 SMD Red waterproof 12v for the front & rear and both sides. I figured when I drove up north, I'd turn them. I also thought the Gloryders cool. Especially the one with the pony.

Fail......not on a mustang unless it is a full blown radical custom show car.

Re: Led underglow?

No way, Why drew attention to your car? I would not ever use these while driving but there is a place for them if you are showing your car in a show etc.

I like my car to be almost invisible when going down the road day or night. I sure don't want a thief following me home to steal my Mustang. It happens a lot here in Florida.

A show car "YES" a daily driver "NO"

The dots do look really good though.

That look is reserved for a big body Benz or Bently, maybe even a 7 or 8 series beemer. On your mustang it will look like a ricer move. We frown on ricing out your mustang.

Re: Led underglow?

I street glowed my tv, I'm ricing from my couch b****es

i agree though, the dotted lighting belongs in VIP whips...japanese or german luxury sedans with big rims. Once my mustang is paid off I will be getting a Lexus IS350 used as my THIRD car (lol) to throw some sick rims on it and a kit like this along with a sweet stereo system like I have in my 99 QX4, but the mustang? Its a muscle car, even if its a v6 it really is blasphamy to do anything but reduce weight, increase power, and treat it like a real sports car not a mish mash of automotive genres, but its YOUR CAR, if you want to do it go ahead, just get a "dont be hatin" bumper sticker so we will lay off :p

I'm not a fan of underglows. My only input would be, if you do decide to get a set be sure you or your installer install them correctly. Using an accessory port or a fuseable link. I've seen one a few years ago, I think it was a jetta. The guy bought all these cheap autozone neons. They were the type you plug into your cigarette lighter. He had wires and plugs all over the floorboards.
