My Magnaflow comps I have now would be my choice. That's why I bought them They sound amazing but I must admit the quad tips was probably the decision maker. Wanted quads before I even had the stang and luckily Magnaflow came out with some.

If they all cost the same? FRPP Sport or Borla Stinger. I bought my Magnaflow Comps because I got a helluva deal on them.

Re: AXLEBACKS

I scored a set of magnaflow competitions (single not quad tips) used and in nice shape for 220 but havent installed them yet. I heard clips and like them a lot but I am concerned about drone. Do you guys have any drone?

Re: AXLEBACKS

Cool. Good to know. Thanks. I dont really daily mine either so I think I will put them on and check it out. Worst case I take them off. Figured it was an ok deal and I could resell them if I needed to go a different route.

Re: AXLEBACKS

the magnaflows are the most affordable and work well as our daily driver (2013) and on the highway; the roushs were next but almost twice ascostly and kind of noisy(drone), the borlas were so far out there it just was not in our budget. putting the extra money into the BBK CAI brought a pleasant rumble and the results were great.

Re: AXLEBACKS

It is hard to beat the sound, price and quality of the Magnaflow street axlebacks. They are not a super loud sound but a nice deep rumble that is not annoying inside or outside of the car. They do come alive when you go full throttle and sound great. The tips are nice and large and look just plain perfect on a Mustang.

Re: AXLEBACKS

I'd grab a Borla Atak. But seeing as all axlebacks are overpriced for 2 mufflers, that won't happen. lol

Re: AXLEBACKS

sux that u can't get magnaflow street axel backs for the '13. they made a special cat back version.. wonder if the piping (2.5" ?? is bigger than the stock diameter piping). And if so, will it make a little difference. still contemplating on putting in a CAI & tune first or go w/ the cat-backs. leaning toward the cai/tune...it's the same price!!

You can get the street axle-backs on the 13. It's the same as the 10-12.

Re: AXLEBACKS

well, AM says no on the website...someone asked a question about it on the webpage of the Magnaflow Street Axleback exhaust and they answered "no, you have to use the catback exhaust for themagnaflow street"

Well that just doesn't make sense when AM posted a video of them installed on a 2013 V6.

If you check around there's plenty of others who have installed them as well.
