Link to fords specs on our cars

Pretty cool, I wanted to know how big our brake rotors were and stumbled upon this

check out curb weight, autos weight 23 lbs more and convertibles weigh 18 lbs more....really surprised how little of a difference there is. Curious, I'm not a convertible guy but I noticed the Camaro has extensively larger A-pillars on the droptop....how do the convertibles look up close?

Also the base model in auto comes with "energy saver" michelins...wtf? this is a mustang lol the base manual comes with regular bf goodrich..standard on 17's....wow my 1999 infiniti qx4 is a luxury suv that cost $50k back then...and it has 16's!!!

Vert's weight 129lbs more. Base autos get the skinny's because of Ford's 31mpg campaign.

Intake manifold Composite shell-welded with internal runner pack

Is that the same thing as the CMCV intake runner plates that were in the 4.6 3v intake manifolds to help with low end torque but killed HP up top? They were blades that were contolled via an electronic motor and would open up as rpm increased... If so by removing those and gearing the car with something like 3.73 or higher would probably get you about 10 more hp. Without gearing the car it would make the torque down low fall flat.

found these engine cutaway shots. hard to tell but it doesnt appear to have them. I could just go check to see if there is an electronic motor along the backside of the motor to see if it has them too..
