Need an exhaust reference? Click me!

This is a great compilation with video/sound clips of pretty much all the axle back exhaust options for us. It would be a great tool for somebody looking into the different brands.

Re: Need an exhaust reference? Click me!

Is it just me or does the mbrp sound the deepest and most natural? I really like that one it doesnt sound like a fat guy farting and playing the trumpet at the same time, and sounds like a subtle, deep, clean tone. The others sound like garbage at lower end and only glorify themselves when you really push on it...i dont want to be pushing on it, i want to cruise and have a sweet sound.

Also...just me or does it seem like most of the vids on the net have automatic trannies....it sounds like crap no matter what..when i actually do want to push it..in spirited driving id HATE those shift points, their boring! When im driving through twisties i love to truly downshift and rev it nice n high, i love the gurgle of the exhaust between gears, i love driving under overpasses at a higher rpm without having to slam the gas! I think tuners are a must for you auto guys.

Re: Need an exhaust reference? Click me!

Yeah, I too think the MBRP sounds the deepest, but they don't seem to be much louder than stock. It's hard to tell volume levels through video though.

Here's another good video I found of the MBRP's, and the car is actually a manual. There's too many auto trans exhaust videos and not enough manual IMO.

I really like the sound of these, but I also like the Magnaflow streets, and Borla Touring. It'll be hard to decide without hearing them in person, but I guess I need to get the car first and then worry about exhausts later after my bank account recovers a bit.

Lol i had my gt500 style wing a month before my car was even built!

Right now im feeling the borla stype, magnaflow either street or comp, and the mbrp. I dont plan on doing anything else to my car until at least next spring (winter stored) but i think ill need to hear them in person to make my decision...i dont see any v6 owners on here from toronto
