Finally got the tint!

Finally got my MCA grille installed and the tint done! What do you guys think??

I know, she's very dirty and I hate seeing her like this. The tint guy was pretty messy and I didn't get a chance to clean her up yet.

Is the grille just an overlay or does it replace stock? I was under the impression the grille was connected to the bumper? And what's the tint? 35? Looks good.

---------- Post added at 10:48 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:47 AM ----------

And is the emblem removable?

Re: Finally got the tint!

The grille fully replaces the stock PP one I had on it before. Nope, not connected to the bumper. The OEM grilles have 10 or so "tabs" that pop in and pop out once you take the raditor cover off. Pretty easy job. And yes, the emblem is removable with 2 screws on the back on the grille. You could also move it to the left side if you want.

I went with 35% on the front and quarters and 20% on the back. It looks great in person.

Thanks!

With your blacked out theme, you should really tint!

Looks good bro, and the grille is sick too. How much did the grille cost you?

Thanks bud. Yea, I'm very impressed with the MCA grille too, really changes the front of the car. I got it off of eBay for 150. All the other ones I was looking at we're around 250, so I'd say I did pretty good there.

$300! That seems a bit overpriced to me. I paid 140 to get my sides, quarts, and rear done.

Why all the different numbers in tint. Remember, there is more than just one shade of black. Keep it the same all the way around. I would go as low as 20 IMO so it's dark but not dark enough to get the fuzz on you. I have 35 to see critters and deer jumping at my car at night.

Ask the dealership they might have someone that does their tint and it has a ford dealership logo on the tint so no one asks questions wether its legal or not. I got the darkest I could get on the sides and the back goes eith same tint as the side ones so its all an even tint

Call my guys at Glass Tiger they should be able to get you a deal

but yeah you would love it darker! I love 20% they did all 5 for $150

I'd say $200 is worth it $300 I'd skip it
