How to launch a manual

I'm headed down to Atlanta drag way next week to make a few passes with my 2011. I was wondering if anyone had advice on the best way to get a manual off the line.

Re: How to launch a manual

trial and error, find the sweet spot so you take off as fast as you can with just a bit of wheel spin. I would start out around 2500 rpms to 3000 rpms and hold the clutch right before it grabs. You dont have long before the lights drop so practice slowly pulling up and then stopping and getting ready to launch in about 5-8 seconds~

dont beat one the car and redline the crap out of it and shift hard if the launch sucks as the launch is the most important part. Until the 60ft time is 2.3 or better dont bother.

I believe the first time I went I got around a 2.1 in the 60 foot. I just put lower control arms on a few weeks ago, I just don't know how much to let the clutch slip

When i went , i wished i had the lca's
But i can not get the launch down . Bc its nature to stomp it lol.
But i revd between 2500 -3000 a few times and i still had bad wheel spin. I also do not have the premium wheels . And did not let any air out.
I had fun though.

I have performance tires but they're way better for autocross than drag, also didn't let any air out
