Soooo.... The 10 series sounds VERY aggressive. I like it but the wife might kill me if I went that route. How do you guys think the Series 40 mufflers would sound. Sorry to thread jack.

Re: flowmaster super 10 series!!!

That would be the same as the Flowmaster Force II series, I have clips posted of those.

Classic Flowmaster 40-series mufflers
Polished stainless steel 4" tips
Durable 409 Stainless Steel Construction
Includes two Flowmaster mufflers
Fits 2011-2013 V6 Mustangs

Thanks guys! Checked out both vids and I like. Found a local shop to do the welding. Now I just need to find the best price on line for the 40's. Figuring I should get the 2.5 inlet/outlet mufflers with the staggered inlet and outlet?

I'd go with a the flowmaster force 2 if your gonna go for the 40 sound
It's not as activating as trying to put mufflers on

Hmmm. So all bs aside, how loud are the 10's in comparison with say the ATAKs, Roush, or straight pipes? Can you hold a convo inside without yelling?

The main difference between the 10s and the others is that the 10s only have one chamber
The 10s sound like straight pipes but are deeper
And don't make that raspy sound around 3k+

---------- Post added at 08:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:23 PM ----------

As long as your not going uphill, flooring it, or starting from a stop then you can talk normally

i know that my car sounds way different as i drive a foxbody. but i have had 40 series and i know have 10 series. both were coupled to custom o/r H pipe and summit brand shorty header. if you guys would like me to i can post both setups with the only difference being the mufflers. i know it wont sound the same as our guys motors. but you maybe able to get a loudness difference from the. just let me know.

Thanx. The reason the 40s sound louder is because they were done on 2 different mobile devices with different Mic settings. But the 10s are WAY louder hands down. Not even close comparison.

But thanx for the compliments. I have always been a 40 series guy until I bolted on a set of 10s. It was orgasmic the first time I fired it up. Haha.
