I was thinking of wrapping the grey plastic parts of mine in carbon fiber. I looked up the instructions on American Muscle's we site. They sell aftermarket steering wheeks there. Easy job. Just remember to unplug your battery first or you may get k.o.'d by the airbag or short circuit something out. Also make sure you have a 24mn deep well socket or a regular one with an extension may get it. Take a look at am's website for instructions.

Re: Gt500 steering wheel

I have swapped them in the outgoing model. Lots of instructions online on how to do it. Yes. Unhook the battery.

There are wiring diagrams to get it to all work to online.

You will need I think it was an 18MM socket to get the bolt holding the steering wheel on. Also, It is on there really tight so an impact gun will be your best friend.
