Question About Control Arms

I am getting ready to order the Ford Racing Pack. What are the Control arms used for?

Re: Question About Control Arms

They modify how the car reacts to loads changes by modifying suspension geometry. Most drag racers change them to prevent rear end squat and provide traction (eliminate wheel hop too). It has similar positive affects on handling.

Re: Question About Control Arms

So they are used to control the car on a dead takeoff? So if I don't take it to the track I can get by without them?

I only have rear control arms, but the car is way more fun to drive. I don't know how to explain it, but your rear end will feel a lot tighter.
