V6 vs v8 suspension

How much better are the struts shocks and springs on the gt than the v6 . If I bought gt shocks struts and springs would it be an upgrade ?

if your going to pay for any of those with installation your better off going with after market go with koni shock and strut lifetime warranty so you wont have to pay twice

Absolutely what he said!

Note that the GT shocks/struts/springs/etc. are only slightly heavier duty than the V6 versions. They are still OEM equipment specced to a price point, and made by whatever supplier Ford chose to use that month. (Well, they might buy all their shocks and struts from the same place all the time, but on many items you never know who made it.)

Aftermarket items from a reputable performance specialist, like Koni, are almost always going to perform better and for not much difference in price.
