V6 Custom Tuners...what do you use?

well, the title pretty much says it. I think we can all agree that the Bama tuner is very popular at this point but lets hear a little about the other tunes out there. Just looking at AM I can see the SCT TSX Touch-Screen Tuner, SCT iTSX Wireless Tuner, and the Diablosport Trinity T-1000 Tuner... anyone give these a try? what were your findings? and would you buy it again?

rebeltx,

The Benefits to the big screen tuners are really cool. You can do all the same things as a Bama SCT SF3 and more! You can few your 0-60, 1/4 times, gauges etc...

If this is something you'd use often then one of those devices are for you! Either way I'm confident you'll be very happy with your Bama tunes. I'm looking forward to seeing some of our fellow members experiences!

Let me know if you have any questions. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

Is there one that can monitor my air fuel mixture and boost when I supercharge my car?

On the 2011+ Mustang's they had factory wideband sensors. So you can measure A/F accurately through Datalogging! You can't measure boost through the tuner because there is no sensors for V6 or GT to monitor anything more then 0 Vacuum. Your best bet when installing a supercharger on an NA car would be to get a boost gauge!

I hope this helps, Let me know if you have any further questions!

Is there a tune that only gets rid of the horrible delay that occurs when the throttle pedal is floored? Rolling OR Standing Still, my '13 V6 Auto seems to pause at least 2 seconds before it wakes up and then it really roars.

Thanks

Many of us experience this aggravation. Fortunately, there are options for you! Bama does not advertise a tune as you describe BUT if you buy from AmericanMuscle you will get free custom tunes for life! AM Dan posted above and can give you more information on this but I would bet that bama has something for you in there goodie bag

I have noticed that when I use grade assist around town that the pause is less noticable. Also when I take grade assist off after using it awhile the pause is less noticable in normal mode. Must be that learning thing.

U can't do a donut? I press the brake lightly and start pressing the gas until my tires start spinning then I put my foot down on the gas and that's it?
