i won't say i've never pegged a car before...i pegged my last GT at 147...i will say it was stupid and i was 22 at the time..i'll never hit those speeds again. No need to unless i'm on an oval style auto-x course...

that all being said if this is for track use then i'd look into upgrading to z-rated tires (a good sticky compound at that)...and an aluminum driveshaft. then when you tune it have the limiter killed...hope you put down some decent times man. if you ever do run it let us know

i do say keep what mods pm you in mind though for future posting. lets make everyones stay nice and peaceful ok.

for your tire question...check your tires sidewall...all the tire info is there and you'll be able to find your speed rating from there along with load capacity.

My bf Goodrich that came on stock were rated at S or T (118) but I upgraded to Michelin and got them Z rated so if I ever wanted to go faster I won't melt the tires. We all are a little irresponsible but most of it was being young. Get that shaft and tires first though. If your gears aren't 3.55+ then do that too. I run 2.73 from factory for mpg. The tuner just brings it all together so do it last
