Lost power at 200kph

Today I was racing a Subaru imprezza and when I got to 200kph I put my foot down expecting to get some more power but instead the accelerator pedal just did nothing. I pushed down but there was no power, no revs, nothing until I got back down to about 180kph. Does anyone know what happened. I thought it may have something to do wit the mykey setup, but on inspection it had no limits to the speed. Please help.

You hit the speed limiter.

Also, discussion of non sanctioned racing is prohibited on this website.

It was on my local speedway. Not the road.

Got ya.

That is the factory speed limiter. You will have to get an aftermarket tune to remove it. I would also suggest replacing your driveshaft and getting tires rated to the proper speed.

Just how many miles long is this speedway?

Not sure exactly. It was a gift from my wife that I could take my car on the track and race a few laps.
Just a one off. Don't want to screw up my car.
