Short (in height) Auto Shifters

Okay so I have a 2012 V6 automatic. I just got my alpine installed in my car and, no complaints, but the shifter is a little but in the way at times. I'm just wondering if there are any ways I can shorten the shifter in height

yessir it goes up to the point of the spare tire opening. so if you go to your trunk, open up the spare trunk space, where the hinge is, that's where the box stops.

I don't need my trunk hahaha gna hopefully have it done as a Christmas gift from my parents, brother, sister, and GF hahaa I told everyone either give me cold hard cash or a custom trunk and split it between everyone I don't want presents because I would prefer to work on my car. They said okay we will all pitch in acouple hundred bucks and that's it you get no birthday gifts

Ratchet shifter should do the trick for the height
