I know they'll look a lot better at night!

Install was super simple. Just took time of unbolting the splash guard and making the wires as neat as possible. The instructions where very detailed.

So lil update on this. Had to replace one of my lights cuz of me being dumb. Didn't secure the ballast on right. And didn't put my splash guard on annnd it fell and went under my tire ripping the light off.

But I ordered a new set of lights and installed them.!!! And this time did everything right. Lol

Haha. I got them from the local autozone store

And how I mounted them. If you take the radiator cover off there's a flap of metal so I just revited in. Pretty simple.

Total including everything about $400
The biggest chunk was getting the fog lights since mine never came from the factory installed.

They are Zenex brand. Never had a problem with them. They have a amazon store account so I got them from there for a reasonable price!

Just finished installing the starkey fog lights on my 2011. Quality product and easy install with great instructions. These are the factory v/6 fogs that also give you automatic headlights and I am going to use the fogs for daytime running lights. Found them on sale on the internet for 284.00. Usually 339.00. Wife bought me these for Christmas so I better tell her before she notices them.

All this is true. But! It's not illegal. There is no state or federal law stating that it illegal to have HID lights in halogen housings. Yes it's frowned on. And cops can give you a hard time.. If there was one. Every cop would be pulling people over. Just adjust your lights a lil more down. Simple as that.

States have guidelines on how much light can come from your car. Most body shops won't hook up certain things, or it can only be used for "off road use only." Like with mine, my six lights are against the law if they are all on at one time. I am not saying I know exactly what it is, I just know that states usually have some type of law, at least Ohio and Michigan do.

True states do have guidelines. Doesn't mean you gotta follow them. Lol. Just don't make yourself obvious. That's why I adjust mine down and I've never had a problem.

Yepp. I, as a fellow road driver, ask that your lights are not too bright lol, I hate when I am on the road and idiots drive with their brights on until like 30 feet away. It really ticks me off how some people can not see at night without damn UFO lighting, and blind me until they are right in front of me.

I honk at them, sometimes, but I don't know of any officers who know the actual law or have the equipment to even check. The only way I could see you getting in trouble is if you always bug the same person and they complain enough. Otherwise, I couldn't see you actually getting in trouble for it.
