It's a Mustang forum. If you were looking for unbiased opinion you came to the wrong place. However, I told why I picked the Mustang due to budget vs performance. It was and still is the best bang for the dollar, not even considering looks since that is subjective.

Sanguin, I could not agree with you more.

I love the way a lot of the newer cars look. If Dodge had put a manual transmission in the base Challenger, I might have ended up with that despite the performance loss. Mopar is where my heart thrives. I love all vehicles though. I even think the Camaros look sexy.
Couldn't agree more, Mustang has best bang for the buck, and a higher quality interior. That challenger v8 sounds sick. Now, just need a heads up display like the Camaro.

I am a fan of the Mustang number 1, but no reason to blindly hate all other cars.

Your buying an icon. Lots of aftermarket parts and goodies to "make it your own".

V6? Very much a great engine. It's beating the previous year GT V8's! While I'd lust after the Boss or Shelby, my daily trip of almost 200 miles per day is what kept me to the V6. Great performance, great price, and great MPG.

There are several gear options to go with as well. the stock 2:73 gearing will get you the best MPG, but consider a 3:31 or 3:55 for better street performance, but you will sacrifice MPG.

I was in the same boat as both of you. I chose the v6 because of graver blue but I liked the power
