How to take off door handle sorround???

I'm trying to take the piece that surrounds the inner handle. I've taken the inner piece off and unscrewed the star bit but it feels like somthing else is holding it on.. Don't want to mess it up . Any help would be appreciated .
Thanks

Would you have to take off the whole interior panel?

I dunno how they attached everything in the new mustangs but in my 05 it was pretty simple. Just a bunch of bolts on the edge running around the panel and another part under the window switch.

That should make it easier if it does have to come off! Hopefully all goes well for you!

Mine was the chrome... Looked cheesy... Replaced with billet ones... Probably should have tried a wrap first!

How does the billet look? Just a satin silver? I agree the premium chrome door accents are cheesy.

I went to the black anodized billet handles from SHR. they are awesome except 1) more expensive than a wrap . 2) painful to touch in Texas' summers.
