I am considering plasti dipping the chrome part of the grill on car. And the mustang as well

I did my grille with dip too. Makes it look brand new all the time. But when it came to installing it snagged the dip :/ glad yours came out better than mine

Has anybody dipped their side pony emblems? When I upgrade to the charcoal AMR wheels this spring I'm debating on dipping the faux gas cap and the side emblems...

Its just an overlay you put it on top of your original pony with 3m tape.

Just for future reference, the factory pony has hooks molded into it and snap into the grill. Chances are you'll bust them if you try removing it. I have a black chrome one off a GT sitting on my desk that I have for a project that a forum member was gracious enough to donate to me.
