The side stripes are easy to install yourself. I used 2 drops of dish washing soap to one average size squirt bottle. I sprayed the body, then applyed the stipes, while using a body puttly type squeegie to work out the solution, working from the center to the outside. As to the roof, that too may be same proceedure, but I ruined the hood vinyl, as it tapers from out to in as the hood slops from windshield to grill. I had to buy another and have that one done by an expert. They used a heat gun to stretch it and prevent the wringles as it tapered down.

They can be applied dry, but you better be a pro to do that!

I let my body shop do it. They bowed it too much at the top and went inside the door handle.

As far as 2013 stripe on a 2012. People will make fun of you. Not being an ***, just telling how it is. Some will see it and think cool but most car people know the difference. I've seen the 2013/1970 stripe on the 05-09 and a 2012. It looks off. Go with the C stripe and some sort of hood to break it up. Hood spears don't count. Mine is based off the "patriot" edition boss mustang

I agree.. Its not to be rude but that's how i see it as well. It might look good but not quite right and also makes it seem like your trying to look like something you don't have "302"

Any color would show it but yea specially gloss. Best trick is use alot of liquid and its easier to remove them. I used a sponge first

I was going to do this as well. I catch hell bringing up around any mustang owner. I love the idea, just got tired of hearing the bs

Have paint. It's easier and looks cleaner. Also for decals use a fine needle and poke the water out

Just like monkey said lots of liquid and you can move and work any bubbles out if they don't come out with squeegee pull it back up and try again . Taking you're time is the biggest part . I did mine one section at a time . Roof one day hood one day etc. didnt have enough time or patients to do it all in one day. Also start at the highest part of the car and work your way down .

If you go with my stripes yes but not so much with buckos .. With his you just have to line the front squeege it out then stretch the back and squeege it out little by little. Use a hair dryer lol

You will have plenty of stripe to do both. The reason i say this is because it saves you the pain of having to cut them.to size and squeege them under the spoiler. Once u do the trunk then put the spoiler line it up and put the stripe over the spoiler
