Eh Borla is great and all but it's not for me. Everyone has their own opinions on which exhaust is best. I think personally Bassanni is best. It's really deep and mellow but can be loud if need be. Borla is just loud all the time lol

I gained around 35-40HP with full BBK exhaust and hybrid tune. But I gotta take into consideration the CAI and TB Spacer that was installed too!

My friends ATAK catback is annoying loud all the time unless below 2k after that it's like seriously? Hahaa but maybe it's cuz he has full headers and Catted mid pipe. Idk my Roush mufflers were crazy annoying loud and installed resonators to take the sound and it worked out great

Consider viewing some other posts here on the subject. A previous post on this subject went for aver two weeks with posts.

Very popular subject on this forum, along with CAI's and tuners.

For the sound you are asking for, Just pay the bucks and get a set of Magnaflow streets.
Since you are from the "Show Me State" I will show you my Magnaflow streers

They are completely stainless steel, Fit perfect on my 2012 3.7 with no tweeking or problems at all. They sound perfect and the tips look great. These are expensive but like I said in another post "You get what you pay for"

Everyone is just going to recommend to you getting what they personally have. You need to find out yourself and start watching some YouTube videos. Everyone has different taste.

Hi BlackedStang

You sure are correct on that. The many different mufflers are all having a different sound. He needs to go to a car show or find someone that already changed the mufflers to make his choice properly.

He IS from the "SHOW ME STATE" so he would probably need to see the exhausts in person anyway.

I was at an all Ford car show over the weekend and got a chance to hear some different mufflers on the 2011 up 3.7's and most of them sounded very good but way to loud for me. It really made me appreaciate my Magnaflow streets after hearing some of the Borla's. They were just to loud and raspy sounding. Nothing wrong with loud if that is what you like but not for me. I like the nice deep rumble and the highway tone my streets put out. They do come very much alive when I floor it to pass a slow mover though.

Ronnie

Watching you tube doesn't really help knowing what you like. You really need to hear the sound in person. Everybody has there own personal opinion on what exhaust sounds the best. For me, I think flowmasters sound awesome and the best on mustangs. I think flowmasters are the right choice for the stangs. If you ask 10 people , you will be 6 different opinions.

As far as the best power gains from an exhaust system, I have no idea if Flowmasters are the best. They just sound the best on stangs.
