plasti dip is a great product and have used on both of my rides. Facebook is also full of folks that use it....dip my ride, wicked dips, the plasti dip page as well.
Experimenting with the green blaze as we speak...and have ordered the yellow, pink, and purple for customizing jobs I have coming up.....Women love their bright colors, and some guys I know too

So I like the roush grill but I'm worried about the protection to my grill from bugs and crazy birds with death wishes! Haha but I was wondering... Does a GT grill fit in a V6 slot? Does it need any modification? And by the way love the slimmer!!!

Xaperez100 you have me pretty convinced by looking at your car on the plasti dip as a temporary solution to the silly bling in the grill on my beast. Even for your permanent paint job it looks great!

the GT will fit...since have the lower fog lights...you will have to get the upgrade with longer connection to make the hook up with the GT fogs. But yes....roushperformance.com has take offs you can by. im going for a different look....currently have the black california special grilles...but will get more airflow with the Roush upper I got....and would rather have that than the wide open shelby, which as you mentioned..offers no protection from rocks on oil cooler/ radiators...
And thank you for the compliment on "Slimer"

Back to the original question, ... Are there any replacement grills (for 2013-2014) that replace the outer chrome strip?

Well if you want a completely new grille, go for it. Choose one on american muscle. But if you just want to cover that chrome on the stock grille, plasti dip is your cheapest and best looking option. I did it to mine and left the pony emblem chrome. I think the car should have come like that from the factory. Makes the car look damn good. Its not hard to pull off the grille so you can dip.
