In Kentucky, windshield tint is only allowed above the AS-1 line. Front Side Windows is 35%. Back Side and Rear Window is 18% .

Since your in the Army, the base can choose to enforce it more or less. In most cases, local or state traffic laws are usually enforced.
You're right on that, my job puts me in close contact with the city police dept and they LOVE their tint detector. EASY money for the city coffers.

Fresh out of the tinting shop. They did a great job, took 2 hours and was $139.99 + tax. I decided to go with 50% because I didn't want a total blackout rather just a shade darker so I could still see at night but something which would decrease UV light.

That looks great. Do you know what brand and model of tint they used?

don't know the brand of tint they used but the guy who did it gave me a lifetime guarantee. I didn't go with any of the shacks outside post rather did a little research on the internet and found a sound system place in Hopkinsville, KY. Shop was professional and well kept.
