A option that can allow for lights of the 7 basic colors in your doors, gauges, floorboard and back seats. Kinda cool for personality. Also the door jams can be colored

Yep. Part of the "premium package" option.

Its only 7 options? I thought it was a crazy amount, like 100+.

It has 7 per-programmed, but yes, you can mix and match RGB colors to custom make your own.

That seems like a pretty cool feature. Except I would find one color I like and never change it lol

That's what I've done. The gauges turn red if something is bad. Gas hits near empty, gauge is red. Tach turns red and red line. Battery if left on accessory too long. Kinda cool but has to be any color but red.

I've made yellow on mine. It looks more like a gold than yellow, but It's actually a pretty nice looking color. I had a yellow, red, and green setup for the holiday season, but yellow gauges with a blue halo looks pretty nice also. Currently I have mine set on red gauges with a blue halo and red ambient lighting.

Must be an addition to the 13s. I'm jealous. I bet the colors are clearer too. Red, blue, green, purple, and orange are the clearest on a 11-12

You can have the gauge halos and gauges set to different colours than everything else.

I always have mine on a custom deep blue..or the stock ice blue. Sometimes use red gauges with blue halos, pretty cool. My fav psrt is cupholder lights....useful when u have stuff in there

Back in 06 all they give are R G B 1-7 cant go below 1. When I bought it the salesman never explained it to me, I just started messing around and found my color.

---------- Post added at 02:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:17 PM ----------

Now let's say one already has my color, is it possible to add the my color to the cockpit?

Like the 05-09's just have it on the dash

You can buy bolts from ford. I'm sure tey can sell the package for you and such. It also may be on the factory wirings harness. I thought it was on 08 premiums up btw?

Yes!

I have also found out that they had them in 06's as well.... But not to the extend that it is now! I think the colors were just for the gauges! And not as many colors!

yes...package started out in 2005 for the major redesign....was 125 color combinations for the gauges only. when the 2010 restyle happened...it migrated to the floor, door sill, and elsewhere...even though some didnt get it until 2011.
I love mine...even though the 125 color combo at the beginning would have been nice...wonder how much of and LED set up that toook and if it wasnt too much trouble for Ford...?

In an auto it won't redline unless you really really dog it. But that turns red along with the other gauges if something is wrong

Only of Sumthin is wrong? Or each time it's redlined?

I have a manual.... So I can do it pretty easy!

Just always shift before redline.

Wow'd

Yeah I'm totally new to the mustang world. Got a regular standard V6 4.0L 2006 mustang in Sept 2012 and haven't got to ride it a whole lot b/c I deploy so often. Its fun to do some of the upgrades but its a process to find out what to do. If I could have a do over, I'd get a 2014 V8, then mod from there. Thanks guys!
