As per Shelby this is the only white GTS with Azure blue stripes they have converted to date because the Azure blue is the newest stripe color added to the list this past October.
How many GTS are out there period? I bet they don't even convert but a few hundred each year.

Shelby GTS #s

I dont know the exact numbers since they started with the 2011 models but they are definitely not in the few hundreds from what other GTS owners tell me but as far as for the 2013 models my CSM#(Carroll Shelby Manufactured) is only 13GTS0031.

Considering the GTS package is also available for GTs and the package doesn't include engine mods unless you get the procharger, there is no reason to not do the v6 models. The parts being replaced are almost identical to the GTs.

Optional. The OPs isn't and there is a guy on allfords that has an '11 or '12 GTS that isn't.

Ordered after he passed. As for the supercharger, although available for the v6 and GT its a whopping $10k + upgrade and unfortunatelly voids the Ford warranty. This part makes no sense since Ford and Shelby work so well together.

Ford is not going to warranty any sc besides one installed at the factory like GT500. That's more strain than the engine was ever designed for.

I'm glad this is offered; if someone gives me crap about the installation of a GT500 rear deck wing on my V6, I can point them to the fact that Shelby makes a V6; I'm just doing it one step at a time, and with my own labor to save money.

Perfect. Thanks for sharing this link. Made my day.

+1 but I'm sure the Shelby built v6 is more than a standard v6

My 13 GTS V6 premium is identical to any other V6. Any engine mods done at Shelby are all added upgrades. Costly too!

If so, what did you have to do to get it upgraded? (Like who did you go through)

$10,000 and you don't even get the parts taken off. That's a RIP OFF!

First things first, welcome to this forum. It's awesome here and you'll find answers to the most obscure inquiries. I always come here when Google has failed me.

And second, I AM SO JEALOUS! That's gorgeous!! I'd take that over a V8 any day of the week!! Nice choice!

nice gts

that said you guys apparently haven't read any laws regarding how warranties work in the united states. they cant void a warranty because you installed an aftermarket part. now if the engine fails BECAUSE of the part you installed then it can be voided. but not because you installed the part in the first place.

secondly, ford has a program for tuners and their parts that keeps things in warranty. so it really depends on who you got the part from.

for example, bama performance / American muscle is a part of that program. hence why bama tunes don't void your warranty. im not sure if ati procharger is a part of that program or not but id be surprised if they weren't.

speaking with my service advisor ive been working with for years on the subject, she said "yeah it depends on who made the part. if its a part of the program, you can even pay us to do the installation. we'd love to handle that for you"

ive thought about "how do I save 10 grand?" several times since the fabulous fords forever show last weekend. really nice cars for sure. much more worth it than the Shelby focus, that's for sure.

Furthermore it's the law. They can't just void your warranty.

Umm wrong. I just had a tranny leak fixed (some sort of breather tube cracked). Fell under my drivetrain warranty bc it was a fluid leak. I had a Cai, full exhaust and a tune on it when I took it in. I told them that it had the tune installed so they wouldn't flash it and they had no problems with it.

I still think it all comes down to who you take it too. Maybe "legally" your still under warranty but getting a place that doesn't want to touch your car to honor that could get messy in a hurry. I'm still standing by the "return to stock, what Momma don't know won't hurt her" principal... That's just my .02

I say, dress like you kill people, not suicide bomber, but more of a tatted up biker, and things work out socially for you. Mainly because people don't want confrontation... Or their legs broken.
