Thinking of getting theses for my 13. I'm a little worried about getting some flak because of the boss 302 theme! Good or bad idea?

I would get them and not worry. As long as you dont signify the 302 on the side it is all good imo. It is your car and you should enjoy it and not worry what others that did not pay for it think.

Idk why you can't have a Boss 227. They had Boss 302 and 429... /shrug.

2) custom painted design of the 1 of 1 patriot boss. Also the 1969 boss stripe.
3) open manifolds
4) because I was the first to call it a boss 227 XD
5) I'm slowly putting every part the boss has into my car that will fit. I'm in the process of quad exhaust.

I was about to say... Boss had quad exhaust??? Then realized it technically is. It has two regular tail pipes and two side pipes, just not quad together.

I don't think you have to have Boss stuff to be one. Just upgrade the suspension, put so bolt-ons on the engine, and give it a paint/vinyl scheme, wheels of your choice. It's what most packages are anyone.

The Boss has shaved and worked heads and forged internals.. Far from a bolt on and decal package..

I named my 2012 MCA ""BOSS 3.7"""

It might be a V6 3.7 but it already spanked a 2001 SVT Mustang Cobra.

Don't worry white. Your car is sick. Especially considering your decals are painted and not vinyl. I considered doing a boss 227 awhile back too. In fact, I think we were talking about it? My only gripe is your wheels. When you gonna get something new man?!

I'm a v6. I'm not about to dump 10k into my car when I could have bought a roush or boss with that. I'm doing the basics. Cai, tuner, gears, headers, "quad" exhaust. I have my appearance done and its loud as hell but I'd rather be fast and loud than a quiet mock up

Eh... I think we already have that "amazing" things. We've got a 3.7 in the 10s on stock internals. Got a 3.7 in the 12s N/A.

Heck, one of the Challenger guys was trying to show up the Mustang 6's with his Pentastar. He was patting himself on the back breaking into the low 12s boosted (I think, it's been a while), until someone showed him we (CFM) had already broken into the 10s. He even had people DONATE money to him to achieve this. SMH

Wow... Just headers. I bet that is ridiculously loud lol. Did you see any real gains from that besides the huge increase in loudness?

And I thought I was ballsy dumping mine just before the rear axle

I just dropped 1,200 in tires. When these are up I'm getting the Boss 302S wheels. I just finished dipping and glossing my wheels though. Looks nice

I mean I did that but kept hearing the pipe slap the cab. So I took that and the x pipe out. The sound is more of an in your face loud since its literally right in front of you. I like it sound wise just hate THAT much drone. I'm going with roush sooner or later.

As far as performance, I get less mpg and my cruising rpm is round 2k at 65mph. There is no back pressure. I feel more of a low end though. Not a huge amount but it takes that lag problem away.
