Cowl hood 2013

As I was waking to my car after a movie last night i observed it... The hood is beautiful but I though a small cowl hood would look beautiful... I used to hate them but they are growing on me... Small cowl though... Any ideas? Here's a side view of my car

I like the idea! But, I have a thing about mods being functional.... Still waiting for a 3.7 shaker intake system!

I thought these mustangs come with a cowl or as ford calls it, power dome.

I've never been a cowl hood person. I prefer extractors or subtle scoops.

That's from the driver seat, I am 5'8, you do lose the front right if the car so I have to be careful making tight turns.

http://www.eharwood.com/, I called and made sure they had one in stock, then drove to Tyler, tx and picked it up. If you go on Thursday they give you a tour and show you how they make the carbon fiber hoods. Really nice people, mr. Harwood even talked to us for about 15 minutes.

How about a cowl and heat extractors

And yes, you do lose a little of the sight line to the right so have to be careful parking

This one is from Revelare Designs. They don't have any on hand right now, but I can put you in touch with the owner and he will keep you updated on the next run date.

How much did it end up costing you? I liked the blacks ou look you had before, your car is what ultimately made me decide to get the cowl.

I picked the hood up so I didn't have to pay shipping and it was 636. My guy painted it top and underside for 400 if I remember correct. Here is pre red stripe--Click image for larger version

I like the cowl with the heat extractors and so far it's the best good I've seen for these cars. Although I'm sure there will be a lot more 13/14 hoods coming out soon. I'm really hoping for a shaker hood and intake system will be available eventually.
