How the .... did you get black ones.... I'm jealous.

---------- Post added at 06:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:30 PM ----------

Are you sure you got the ones for the 3.7, the reason I ask is bc they make a black one for the 5.0.

I just ordered a set, as nice as borlas/bassanis sound...there is just something unique about these. the price helps a lot too. Plus if I dont like them I can get close to what I paid for them if I resell (since theyre only $300!)

Is the install as hard as it seems? The problem seems to be lining up the tips to the center of the holes. If it is that hard to get perfect I will have a shop do it for me.

Fitnet is horrible with these no matter how many times u fix it. Just install them, then go to a muffler shop and have them weld a Exhaust Hanger on each one toward the tips and it wont budge EVER. Just get the ones with the rubber bushings

These are super easy to install and the alignment issue is in the operator lol. Mine are perfect. You wouldn't slap a scope on a gun and go hunting without adjusting it would you? Lol same concept, you just gotta put some effort in it. One, maybe two adjustments after the install and you should have it right.

Alright, I can give it a try I guess, I already have a buddy who will help me hold things up!

Quick question, what would be safer I have the car on jackstands for winter storage.....If I have the rear axle on jackstands and wheel chocks up front...do I need to worry about using elbow grease on getting the old mufflers on? I do very minor things right now on my cars, and when it is up on the stands I am unsure about how much I can push/pull on the vehicle lol I may just get wheel ramps for this if its safer.

I will definately try a while to get them centered and if after a few weeks of driving they go off center I will get better brackets welded!

I did mine on ramps but you should be fine on stands. There won't be much, if any hard pushing and pulling. And just to let you know they will settle after driving a few miles therefore making them off center. You will get them center after a few adjustments.

Haha no not cammed. They don't make them yet for our 3.7. It's the Bama race tune that makes it kinda loop a lil bit. And thanks BTW you have a nice one yourself. I will warn you, if you get the O/R midpipe it will be LOUD lol. I like it loud, but your neighbors and/or the cops might not like it. WOT it sounds like a race car, which is kinda what it is
