Exciting day tomorrow!! Need to schedule an appointment for tints and I'm on my damn way

Went to a car show at a Lowe's on my way home and it was unreal. Mustangs, Ferraris, maseratis, c63 amg, GTR, Porsche gt3's, 650i's, a bunch of m6's, and it was free! Such an awesome time. I can't help but imagine bow much better it would have been cruising into that lot with an exhaust that demands attention lol. My bone stock *** cruised in silently haha

Just shopping around AM (typical morning)....and its driving me crazy how the catted X-pipe is $200 MORE than the O/R X-pipe.

I'm really tempted to just grab the O/R and have someone weld in two high flow cats for $100.

I have a random exhaust question I took my roush axlebacks of last night and I am just running the stock mufflers. I am a running a 93 hybrid tune and I was just wondering if I need to order a new tune I figured since the axlebacks were just for sound that I would be fine running what I got but just wanted to make sure.

Yea go for it, but you verified it's only a hundred because I was gonna do that and hi flow cats were 90 a piece. If you really want to save money get them to cut out your old cats and hollow them out and put them on the or pipe and you'll get better performance and still pass imissions

Charlie said there was some high flow cats on ebay for like $25 each or something. If they were 90 a piece then its definitely not worth it.

Something for us guys planning to change our mid pipes in the future to consider.

The difference between BBK catted and O/R shorty xpipes is $280!! DEFINITELY going to try and get some hi flow cats fabbed in.

I was just thinking..what if u make a custom shorty mid pipe out of ur stock & reuse the stock cats to swap out for emissions!? Anyone know if that would work??

But do you really want to put eBay parts in your car? Lol unless its a good brand go for it! Just make sure everything matches up or you will be wasting money that's why I don't like eBay they have ripped me off too many times.

That's what I was saying but that's a lot of work and will be just as expensive, I looked into all of it and I just ended up getting bbk high flows it was barely more expensive all said and done

Sucks I need to worry about emissions. Jersey is truly a love/hate relationship lol

I think he said they were magnaflow cats, I will double check.

Even if the cats are $180 (90each) + $50 install, you can still probably save $50. I see what you're saying though, when all is said and done it may or may not even be worth it.

Silver metallizer dip just went out! I'm thinking rims, grill, feaux gas cap, and maybe some hash marks.

I just thought about that idea but yea I figure it might be just as expensive & a hassle of swapping out. Just good for thought!

Yea I've been working for all my parts so I was in the same spot as you guys and when it was all said and done I was only saving like 40-50 bucks. Plus I would have had to wait so I just got it all together so I could put it in right when I got it but feel free to do what you want! Texas emissions suck to though I know what you mean

I told you with a little effort they would be perfect. I just think a lot of ppl throw them on expecting them to fit perfect. Any axle back will require tweaking

I just got mine on and love them! Didn't go for a drive yet too much salt on road. Maybe Saturday Cuz I have a rustproofing appointment. I installed them by myself and didn't even need my jack/stands. BUT they are off center. And the passenger side wouldn't line up where you clamp it...the clamp holds it together otherwise its pretty off. I am undecided if I want to play around or just hit up a shop n have them fix it. Where do u guys play with before even trying to unclamp the u bolt on h pipe? All I see is moving the rubber brackets around which defaults back to crooked lol
