Mine is supercharged under 45k miles and it is making 434 rwhp at the moment with the dyno. If a stock one goes for that price then in mods along I think 27-25k would be considerable amount to put it up for considering all the time and effort and money I out I to the car but by no means I am dissapointed to call my car a v6 is an insult right now lol I have over 14k in mods

No way you will get 27k bro with 45k miles. Not trying to be disrespectful but mods don't add that much price onto a car. If you have 14k in mods you will be lucky to get back 3k. It will make your car sell perhaps faster over another car with way leas mods but people ain't gonna pay for what you put into it. A new V6 can be had for 22k so a used one with 45k won't sell for 27k even with 14k in mods.

Just curious but why in the world would someone spend 14k in mods on a v6 model when at the end of the day its still a V6.

That's all the mods and the info, before I posted I want to know what I can get from it and I take no offense in what you say it's called constructive criticism.

Did Matt tune your car? You got leather seats. Oh nice bro. Real nice. You definitely spared no expense with upgrades too your ride. A shame you want too sell it after so much money into it.

I didnt realize its a premium package. Perhaps 25k is not unreasonable.

He did in fact big shout out to him @ performance evolution I wouldn't do any business with any body else!! Yeah I really don't want to get rid of it but it doesn't make any sense to have two mustangs that are black lol and to the one that asked why I put so much money into my car number 1 because I can and number 2 because I loved the look of gt owners when I smoked them when challenged any other questions ?

The first step I always take is to appraise the vechicle I am selling here:
Appraise a Used Car at Edmunds.com

I then make up an post that lists the Edmunds Appraise then I add the add-ons I put in the car, create the large list price and then put in an asking price in the lower 1/2 - 1/3 of the mods add on price and see what happens.

Example
Pontiac Pursuit 2 door sporty type eco commuter $7,000 appraisal for private seller in brand new shape, looks new and nothing needed to fix.
New tires and wheel covers within the last 6K miles $1000
New AGM battery $200
New brakes and shocks in the last 4 months $600
Total add on price 1,800
Total with add on 8,800
(1800/3) = 7,600 : but I posted $7,800 price on Craigs list
Once the buyer was on site, I accepted 7,200 for a quick cash sale with no hassles.

Now with your performance add ons adding up to 1/3 is about $4,600 this may or may not work.

A quick post of your 46K miles 2011 V6 Prem/Pony in brand new shape is only $16,128 private seller price. Adding 1/3 of mods only brings you to less then $21K. Being these performance mods will mean more to performance folks, adding half of the mods, 7K to 16K would get you to close to $23k posting price.

It will take longer for you to sell unless you get the right person. Most folks won't buy used performance cars unless they had the performance bug in them.

I'm in the market for a 2011-2013 v6 m6 with reasonable mileage (so I know it wasn't abused mainly).

I've come across a handful of deals, but none that blow me away. I'm not sure if it's because I'm cheap, mustangs hold their values, or simply inflated pricing.

Here's the links (I hope the mods dont mind):
Let me know what you think would be a good deal and a price that I should stick to. I'll be trading in my 08' Chevy Equinox LT with 65k miles (good condition) which has about 4k paid off (worth 12k trade in)

Thanks everyone, and I hope this thread helps out anyone else in the market for something similar.
Go to this site. They have a spreadsheet you can download for free and it will do your calculations for you. All you have to do is add any for your particular state, tire tax, fuel tax....

Matt is the bomb bro. My mustang club had a dyno day with Matt back this past summer. I live about 25 minutes away from performance evolution.

You definitely put some serious loot into your ride and being a premium that's sweet. Good luck in selling it bro.

Yeah he is and thanks but honestly I'll probably just keep it instead of giving it away and wait to what I will do to my brand new 2014 gt when it gets here lol

Being that you have a premium pony package brand new I would think you paid at least 25k. With the 14k in mods you have around 39k to maybe 40k invested in your awesome 3.7. If you sell it now you could easily be looking at a 15 to 18k loss. Darn shame bro. Better off keeping it bro if you can.

We met up with a bunch of mustang guys from Delaware and rode with them over to the AM show back in August. Where about in Delaware are you? Dover, Camden, Clayton?

I bought mine from Carmax. If you have ever haggled with a used car salesman, you will appreciate the Carmax experience where the price is just the price; like picking-out a microwave oven at WalMart. It changes the whole dynamic from one where it feels like they are trying to hoodwink you to one where it feels like they are on your side. I did some bluebook research first and then went to their site and found their prices to be fair/good. The trade-in they gave me for my old Pontiac was actually better than I expected it to be. This was the second car I bought from them and I will be back.

Really every car I have seen on carmax has the priced jacked up.
