Getting back to the op question, for me personally I don't really care for sunroofs, my wife has a 2010 Mazda 5 with one and I think we used it maybe twice. We also close the ceiling panel in the summer because of the sun beating down on us. Just my 2 cents.

I have not taken a contrary position nor argued against anybody's opinion or their right to own their opinions. So there is no argument and no "side" to take. I've just been egging them on and enjoyed their ranting.

Of course this has gone nowhere. There is no way that a person so bent on over-reacting & ranting will ever see their own folly. Have you heard the expression "it's like talking to a brick wall"? I've been higly amused that these guys take themselves so seriously.

Thanks for joining in.
You just don't stop do you? The only one over-reacting or ranting is you, everyone else has been civil on here. I agree with everyone else, this thread need to be closed.

He has since stopped the argument and this thread is almost back on topic. I agreed with you completely up to this point!! But now you are the only one being uncivilized. Please just drop it before this starts again! There is no reason to close the thread if we have a real discussion about sunroofs and the like.

I would actually go that route before convertible it keeps the muscle car edge to it. Convertibles jus don't look aggressive to me ... I have seen some nice paint jobs and rims but not my preference to go convertible

Ford doesn't offer a BOSS vert. I'm guessing part of the reason is the loss of structural integrity when you chop the top off.

I would rather had a BOSS vert over the GT500 vert but it doesn't exist. Since our car is just for cruising & will never see the track, we went with the vert.

A number of automakers have large "panarama" sunroofs where almost the whole roof slides back. I wonder why Ford doesn't offer it on the Mustang?

I saw an aftermarket company made a kit where most if the roof slid back & down inside the rear window for stangs. I wonder if they're still making it?
