SR lowering spring poping sound

I installed these SE springs yesterday and just went on a short ride and i could hear what sounded like metal on metal popping noises. I'm thinking I need to tighten down the 21mm bolt on the strut to put more pressure on the spring but I'm really not sure.

And for those thinking that I need the gt500 upper strut mount. I did some digging and found that they won't fit the factory strut... So that idea is out the window.
