roush exhaust w/ 5.0 resonators

I really like the loudness of the roush but it's too raspy for me and was wondering if 5.0 resonators would make it acquire that deep growl like sound whole keeping the same loudness. what do y'all think?

Yes it will. It will take off alot of rasp bro but be deep and loud!! I had roush mufflers with resonators before.

Thanks so much bro. Do you guys recommend the glass pack resonators. Do they install two of them? Will the exhaust still be loud? Certainly I want a very aggressive loud exhaust system which was one of the reasons I went with the off road x pipe and headers however a loud deeper tone is really what I would like

Thanks bro. I just spoke to the shop who did my gear and driveshaft install about the resonators. They said it would run between 150 to 160 dollars for the install and glass pack resonators. They too said the resonators will give it a much more low pitch, deeper loud tone opposed to the high pitch loud raspy tone without the resonators.

Is there a difference between resonator tips and glass pack resonators because the shop I spoke with uses two, non restrictive, hollow glass pack resonators. Are the glass pack resonators better for a low pitch deeper tone than resonator tips

Yeah, he said 150 to 160 dollars with the glass pack, non restrictive hollow resonators. Hopefully that will give it a more low pitch deeper tone and get rid of the higher pitch tone. Please don't think that I am not happy with my headers an off road x pipe, I do love them. Just want deeper growl and lower pitch. I want loud just deeper tone loud. Lol

Charlie. I love both of your setups bro! damn! 5.0 resonators really did the trick! why did you switch to straight pipes? did u see any performance gains from straights over axleback?

Is the off road x pipe louder than the catted x pipe? Charles, is your high pitch tone all gone with the resonators?

Wow, that's great but are the 5.0 resonators are better for that compared to glasspack resonator?

They are made the same way honestly. If u gutted a resonator and a glass-pack it will be almost identical

Well that's good. I'm so getting two of them so I can really reduce that high pitch tone and get less crackle and more rumble. Lol
