Lol, I'm just trying to understand the exhaust on these cars. Stock the V6 is 2.25" OA piping. Looking at several cat back exhausts all the measurements show they are 2.5" OA pipes and a 2.5" inlet on the muffler. Why do that if as Charlie was saying you'll lose power?

Charlie will get you straight bro. I have no idea about this pipe size stuff. I don't have a cat back system. I just left my factory piping on and it connects to my axle back exhaust system. Lol

The reason they pair their mufflers with larger piping is because their mufflers create enough back preasure for the larger piping so u have better flowing piping but you don't lose back preasure .

V6 have 2.25 stock OTA pipe & GT have 2.75 stock OTA pipes. All the aftermarket cat backs (which come with the mufflers + OTA pipe) only increase the OTA pipe by .25.

Gotcha. Thanks Charlie. Well right now I just have the Magnaflow street axel backs so I'd like to even the piping out as best I can.

Thanks bro, Glass packs helped huge for the interior drone. Well well well worth it. They welded them maybe three inches below the off road x pipe. So I can still unbolt the x pipe if needed too. I'll take a picture of them and show ya

Yes sir, the resonators got welded just few inches below to x pipe. The other side of the resonator got welded onto the factory exhaust piping. I don't have a cat back system so its factory piping

Oh, no sir, the dealerships wanted between 675 to 900 dollars just for the install and that did not include the price of the gears , install kit, pinion and bearing kit, along with the 2 quarts or gear oil and friction modifier. I went with someone who worked for a local garage who was recommended by a co worker who has high performance vehicles. I paid 275 for install and he did an awesome job.

One of my local dealers wants 479 for labor which is definitely more than I want to pay but having a hard time finding anybody else that I trust to do it. I guess I will just have to keep looking surely there is someone around that does. How long does it take to get them installed?
