Haha. Ya those bolts were a bi** to get off. Gained some top end and a lil low end. Breathes so much better. And loud!!! But it's quiet compared to the offroad xpipe.

These are cool. I look forward to the video.

Off topic, what did you do to make your lower valence fog lights so pretty?

These two clips are a lil bit better. Taken from my phone sadly. I couldn't find my camera. But I'm 100% pleased with this exhaust!

sounds healthy! the hids suck though my OEM hids would not cause those giant orbs of light. but I have fake hids in my SUV and it does make a huge difference aiming them lower...i dont get brights flashed at me as much.

anyways that's the most unique sounding v6 I've heard yet. I'm sure its 10x better in person

Well I hope you do keep yours!!! It's a big difference in sound. But not insanely loud like headers and o/r xpipe. And cheaper than getting the combo. Around 3000 RPMs it gets a lil raspy. I'm fully satisfied with it. And it feels like it gained a few more HP. Tired spin way more. Lol.

What made you guys choose Xpipes of H pipes? I read the intersection of the gasses actually helps balance a little more than the straight pipes of the H setup.

I also read that the H setup can sound a little more agressive. This is just from a little research, correct me if I'm wrong please lol Trying to figure it out as I go

Because they don't sell them for our v6. They gotta be custom welded in.

That makes sense, I was looking at that Lethal Performance H-Pipe but it looks like its O/R only.

Edit: Looks like MRT makes a catted Hpipe for 11-13 v6's. I'll have to dig in to find some more info

Looks to be a matter of sound. Read a few posts from guys that said they're around dynos all the time and the difference between X / H are negligible. Might go with an X then since they're more available.

This is going to be so tough trying not to void my warranty as soon as I get my car lolol

I would of gladly gone with an H pipe if BBK made one to fit onto there headers. Unfortunately , BBK nor any other company makes a H pipe to fit onto headers for the 11 plus V6. You can buy a H pipe that connects to your factory manifolds but not headers. If we want headers then our only option is catted or off road X pipe. I don't understand why they don't make a catted or off road H pipe to connect to headers.

Dear BBK or American muscle, please make a H pipe that connects to headers for the 11 plus v6

The H pipes I have located that fit our 11 plus sixers only connect to the factory manifolds. None of the H pipes connect to headers. For the life of me I have no idea why BBK couldn't make an off road h pipe to fit there headers. Or a high flowing catted H pipe

Thanks Kona. I'm still a newb in the modding world so I knew I was missing something. That clears it up. Looks like the BBK X-pipe might be the way to go.

I do remember Charlie Santos saying something about running a lethal performance h-pipe but maybe it was custom fabbed to work.

Lethal has one that hooks up from your stock manifold to the back. But it's doesn't have cats. Maybe buy some an weld them in to make it a lil less noisy?

This is a super newb question but if that H-pipe doesnt have cats, and you buy a catted pype bomb setup...does that not work? lol

I looked into these things a lot because I just had my BBK headers and off road x pipe installed last week. I looked into the H pipe from lethal performance. I learned that if I wanted to use the H pipe it was gonna be connected to the factory manifolds. If I wanted headers, then I was SOL with getting a H pipe. BBK headers only works with their one catted or off road x pipe only.

Now, I have no idea if a muffler shop can rig up a H pipe to headers but when it comes to our 11 plus v6 there ain't a lot of options out there for aftermarket headers. Besides, I think BBK headers are great freaking quality and would only want to use them.

Exactly, hooks up to our stock manifolds but not aftermarket headers. If ones goal is to really improve HP and torque, then the factory manifolds need to be taken off. You need to get as much air flow out and the factory manifolds are more restrictive than the BBK headers. The headers and off road H or x pipe open that engine up to breath and frees up the handcuffed power of the 3.7 engine from the cats and manifolds

Plus the headers are a foot and a half longer than the stock manifolds and it let's a lot more air through. You can especially tell if you have a intake you can hear the air sucking through even at full throttle

Very true. I have an airraid CAI and it really works awesome now the headers and cats are gone. I would of certainly considered an off road H pipe to go with my BBK headers but only option is x pipe. I do love the x pipe and its loud. The only little concern I have with the off road x pipe and headers is the interior drone is a bit too much for my 38 year old ears. Lol. Freaking love the power the car has with cats off and headers, however would be nice just a little less drone when on cruise control. I'm rolling around 2400k rpm's with my 3:73 gears and drone is kicking. I love it loud when accelerating but want less noise when crusing at constant speed.

I'm having two glass pack resonators installed tomorrow and hopefully that will help with the drone and make the exhaust tone more deeper a lower pitched.
