No it wont quiet down it will deepen. Once u hit 3k it will be just as loud as before but not as raspy. A more defined tone

The amount of rasp it will take off will depend on the length of the resonators.

Well , do I want a 22 inch or is the one I have good enough. I have to tell you, thus far there has been no complaints about my 14 incher. She is smooth and steady on the pony.

Why is a 22 inch resonator better than the 14 inch one.

I heard your exhaust there is some rasp left over at higher rpms. It sounds good no lie but I find rasp kinda annoying. Even with my ghost cam tune the rasp is tamed. When I had no resonators omg it was HORRIBLE. The 22' resonators will deepen the tone more making it more defined and will remove extra rasp. Its all personal preference on how much rasp you like.

Nope. My exhaust is just as scary loud as before. The longer the deeper and less rasp.

Yup i still got pypes pipe bombs on there , the resonators cut iwould say 80 % of the rasp at idle ,60% at 2500 , 4500 rpm then and about 45% wide open throttle.

Thought about them but I wasn't sure the 99-04 would fit. Thought they had 2" piping.
